2014 in fact when I did my first Park Run. Completed a handful, tore my calf muscle, got gastroenteritis and the rest is physiology. In 2017 I started my "Marathon or bust/slow carb" adventure and FINALLY I have 100 parkruns under my belt (where all that stomach used to be).

My family came out to support and then encouraged me to put all that weight back on with a lovely cake

Oh and I was 10 seconds off a PB.
