Beatley Birthday - Revolution 49

I can't do FAWM this year, because I'm working on the ReBeatled project and doing preproduction on my album, but a whole bunch of lovely FAWMers posted Beatle parody birthday tributes - and it absolutely made my day.

Liz Frencham was the ring leader who kicked it all off with a version of the Beatles ‘Birthday’

They say it's your birthday
But FAWM is on too, yeah
What good is your birthday
When we can’t do a co-write?
We’re glad it's your birthday
Happy birthday to you

Says he going to do marathon
And pre-production on his baritone
Beatles ensemble and the pressures on

We’re all wishing you well (Birthday)
From our songwriting hell (Birthday)
We’re trying to channel Adele (Birthday)
Yeah!!!!

Lee Pat got in on the act with some bilingual wordplay on 'Julia'

Just got job of lifetime - so he says
Must skip FAWM so changed his name to
Julia

Julia, Julia,
Augenblick,
Miss him
Still the Matt we know and love but
Julia, Julia, Juuuuuuuulia

Low Hum channeled McCartney's short but sassy 'Why Don't We Do It In The Road'

Why didn't you make it to the FAWM?
Ev'ryone's missing you
Why didn't you make it to the fun!

And Expendable Friend went full Betard with her amazing demo of 'Good Day Sunshine' working in references to my projects, ultra marathons and the Kon Mari (happy socks!) method.

Birthday sunshine!
Birthday sunshine!
Birthday sunshine!

It's February
So here we go again
Writing songs and hanging out with friends

But this year
FAWM is missing Matt
And we all hope that he is going to have

Some birthday sunshine!
Birthday sunshine!
Birthday sunshine!

Especially
If he does a birthday run
Training for his ultra-marathon

Birthday sunshine!
Birthday sunshine!
Birthday sunshine!

And in between
The big ensemble piece
And working on the album he'll release

We hope he finds
He gets a minute to
Thank his socks for everything they do

Birthday sunshine!
Birthday sunshine!
Birthday sunshine!

Check out her demo here.
